That’s the hardest part of starting a new book. I have to come up with a story, a cast of characters, a title, and a synopsis. Along the way I will accept and reject potential book titles that blow through my mind like tumbleweeds. Defining my characters and writing a short synopsis is agonizing.
Well, I’ve done that, finally, and I’m now writing the first chapter of “Soul Man.” I said in an earlier post that I had settled on the title, “Wet Works,” for my fifth novel. Apparently, I lied. Anyway, I’m off on my next adventure. This one is going to be REALLY good. Stay tuned.
